Our talented designers and salespersons will give you a personal and exclusive tour of our showroom and of our latest products. The Filipiniana showroom is a calm and inspiring way to explore the full range of the Filipiniana brand.
A SAFE VISIT
Yours and our safety is priority for us. If you have any symptoms or if you feel sick please reschedule your visit with us or have a digital showing instead. This year we have spread out our booked visits to the showroom. You can also inform us if you want to have a time by yourself with a salesperson in the showroom. These times may be limited.
During a booked visit we do what we can to keep a proper distance. Our showroom is spacious and the showroom is regularly ventilated. You can also ask our sales personel to wear a mask or facial shield during your visit. There is also a possibility for you to go around and scan the items yourself. Hand sanitizer and rubber gloves are available at the entrance of the showroom.
GET A DIGITAL SHOWING
Our digital showings have been a popular way to order as most of the trade fair has been canceled or postponed. You have the exclusive possibility to see the showroom and order your items through a video call. This is a good way to get an overview of the collection and see the proportions of the items. You can choose the length of the showroom tour. Most buyers schedule two hours to see the full collection.

Our showroom is located in beautiful Jonsered’s factories which tells a story through the nature and the history of the location. Jonsered’s factory is one of Sweden’s most well kept industrial locations. William Gibson, a Scottish immigrant founded the factories in the 1830s as a textile industry. The production later expanded with woodworking machines, chainsaws and forest cranes. All business were run with hydropower and new channels was built.
A walk from Jonsered’s factories lays the inspiring Jonsered gardens, a recreated 19th century manor house garden. Around Jonsered are several nature reserves and Natura 2000 sites filled with rare species.

SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
Our vision when founding filipiniana was to build a cultural exchange between Sweden and the Philippines and create job opportunities in the rural parts of the Philippines. We started by selling handmade interior products with inspiration from the filipino culture. In that way we could help underprivileged people to a better life through work rather than aiding them with money.
25 years has past and we still work with the same local factories to this day. Together we have grown and widen our product collections but still remain loyal to our startup vision.
We respect and value our cultural heritage. We all have responsibility to choose a social sustainable product. Environmental sustainability
As we grew as a company we started to act more for the environment. As a business we believe we have a big responsibility to limit our emissions and do what we can to prevent further emissions. We therefore always strive to choose the more environmental friendly option when possible. The majority of our packaging boxes are cut and reused from old shipping boxes. Additional, we try to limit our plastic packaging stuffing and choose paper instead.

Here at Filipiniana we often meet creative people with a vision of a concept, a product or a space. We have worked with some of the most bespoke and leading companies in Scandinavia, helping them bring their ideas to life. Our costumers varies and consists of leading restaurants, hotels, cafés, museums, stores and amusement parks.
The process of working together with a client and create a concept with their own exclusive products are a challenging but very inspiring journey. As a result of over 20 years of working closely with local factories in the Philippines we have developed product developing skills that can be used when a costumer wants their own licensed products.

The process
When a potential costumer comes to us with a project they want our help with, we start by setting up a time frame, price plan and a concept/mood board. This process help us visualize the client’s needs, preferences and the overall feeling they want to create. We thereafter present materials, finishes, colors and product suggestions to out client.
After the first stage we start the journey of creating customized design pieces for our client. Some clients need help with creating a full concept layout for their space and others only want one specific center piece. Regardless, we closely develop and design the products together with our team and local factories in the Philippines.
Most of our clients are returning costumers that we have worked together with for many years. We are proud of the creative relationship we have with our clients and are always looking for new inspiring projects to help develop.

Artificial corals
When designing our products we take inspiration from the nature. However we believe it is important to not hurt our planet along the way of making nature inspired products. Therefore all our corals are artificial but very realistic looking.
A coral decoration fits all homes due to its simplicity. However we believe you should choose the place for your coral wisely. When decorating using corals it is important that the coral gets its deserved focus. Due to the many details on the coral, the piece needs a well thought location. Placing a coral on the window sill and letting the sun shine on the coral can emphasize the uneven surface of the coral beautifully.
Another tip is to use contrasts to emphasize the coral by mixing different colors and materials. A white coral infront of a dark wall can create beautiful contrast. The classical white coral with glass base creates contrasts as well. The ruff and uneven surface of the coral, placed on a perfectly cut square glass base creates contrasts that helps highlighting the coral.
