Description

Icarus, son of the master craftsman Daedalus. According to Greek mythology Icarus and his father were imprisoned on the island Crete. Daedalus created wings to help them flee and warned Icarus not to fly close to the sun. Icarus ignored his father’s warning and as a result the wings melted and Icarus fell into the sea where he drowned.
Our version of Icarus is designed in Gothenburg and handcrafted in the Philippines.
